embraced a whole person approach to health care

Laurie Turenne-Kolpan, MD

Laurie Turenne-Kolpan, MD is a Hunterdon County native who received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson. She completed her Family Practice residency at the Hunterdon Family Medicine Residency program and then served in the Air Force for 4 years before moving back home.

Upon her return Dr. Kolpan joined the Hunterdon Residency program as a faculty member practicing full spectrum family medicine including care for patients of all ages, prenatal and obstetric care, gynecologic and dermatologic procedures, as well as preventative health and chronic condition management. In 2022 she completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine and is now board certified in this field. She lives with her husband Brett, also a family medicine physician, and their two adult children.

partner with you

Dr. Kolpan has always embraced a whole person approach to health care. What we eat, how we move, how we sleep and stress, and who supports us all intimately affect our physical health. Typical medical practice focuses on a disease based model which is why, despite amazing medical advances, our chronic disease rates are on the rise and life expectancy is declining. At Your Whole Health, we want to partner with you in your health care journey to optimize your health by combining lifestyle changes, medications, and supplements to achieve the best outcomes. We do this by offering longer appointment times, frequent communication, and collaboration with your healthcare team.
